Like you, I am fascinated with aircraft leading slats. I recently bought an a-4c. The slats are wonderful, it allows higher takeoff weights and slower landing speeds. I read in one of my magazine, these slats are first developed in 1918. Did you know that back then, it was rejected by Germans because they did not believe the possibility of increasing lift by dividing the wing? <br /><br />Well, thanks to the advancement of technology, we are able to develop the different aircraft parts. I am so grateful that distributors and stockist undergo quality check control like the <a href="http://isaregistrar.com/as9120.html" rel="nofollow">AS9120</a>.
